Join us at Frontier Village & Museum for a powerful and immersive WWII reenactment event. Explore our historic cabins as they are transformed into Allied and Axis headquarters, each brought to life by passionate reenactors portraying the soldiers, stories, and spirit of one of history’s most pivotal moments.
Experience living history as reenactment groups portray the bravery, hardship, and resilience of those who served. Walk through detailed scenes, take photos with the Sherman Tank “Gabriel”, hear firsthand accounts, and honor the courage of our WWII heroes.

Wartime Cooking class 11:00AM - 11:45AM
Step into the kitchen of the WWII home front. This class offers insight into what cooking was like during wartime—when creativity and resourcefulness were essential. Learn how families made the most of rationed ingredients, clever substitutions, and sheer ingenuity to keep meals on the table. You'll also get to sample a "Wartime Brownie" and discover how something so simple could still be so delicious.
