General admission includes a self-guided walking tour through our historic village, where you can explore 11 of the oldest homes in Grayson County. Discover a range of early American architectural styles, from the Price-Shaw Dogtrot Cabin to the two-story Greek Revival Bullock-Bass House. Step inside the Thompson House, recognized as one of the first homes in Grayson County, and visit the Holder Cabin/Coldsprings Schoolhouse—the oldest still-standing one-room schoolhouse in Texas....and more!
Inside our museum building, you’ll find a rotating selection of exhibits highlighting pioneer life, local history, and more. Visitors of all ages will enjoy stepping back in time as they explore the grounds and experience the rich heritage of our region.
