Our library offers an extensive collection of books, newspapers, photographs, and historical documents for anyone interested in tracing their roots.
The newly completed main Library Building provides rich resources for researching family lines across Texas and the broader United States. In the near future, it will also feature a computer workstation and be designated as a FamilySearch Center, serving as a free resource for our community.
Our Annex Building houses newspaper and obituary archives, with plans underway to introduce large-format digitization equipment and enhanced microfilm scanners—expanding access and preserving these important records for generations to come.
The Grayson Room is home to rare and irreplaceable local records—true treasures of our community. Whether you’re exploring local history or uncovering your family’s story in Grayson County, we are proud to serve as stewards of these one-of-a-kind collections.
The library is always in need of VOLUNTEERS
